To the Members and Friends of the First Unitarian Society of Schenectady:

This prospectus for our Religious Education program is the result of a lot of hard work on behalf of our                      RE Coordinator, Melissa MacKinnon, the RE Council ably chaired by Scott Horgen, teachers, parents, and those who were part of the planning last year.

We are rightly proud of this program because we take seriously the religious education of our children and youth.  A true religious education requires so much of all of us – to find developmentally appropriate ways to communicate how to live our religious values in the world, what it means to be a Unitarian Universalist, and how to be part of a thriving and loving multigenerational community. We do well on all of these fronts.

May we all support our Religious Education program in many ways.
